1. About VUGA Media Group
VUGA Media Group is a brand of VUGA Media Group LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("VUGA Media Group", "VUGA", "we", "us"). We are an independent media holding operating press strategy, an owned editorial network of 111 publications, four direct-to-consumer streaming platforms, an author publishing imprint (VUGA Publishing), and a 501(c)(3) arts foundation (VUGA Foundation). All contractual obligations described in these Terms are obligations of VUGA Media Group LLC.
2. Services Offered
Our engagements fall into three tiers:
- Self-Serve Press Features — from $97. Individual editorial articles published on outlets in the VUGA Network (our owned 111-publication editorial network). Purchased self-service online, delivered within 7 days, permanent indexed URL.
- Productized Packages — $997 to $14,997. Multi-placement packages combining VUGA Network outlets with premium tier-1 placements. Productized packages for VUGA Publishing authors are governed separately at vugapublishing.com/terms.
- Strategic Engagements — from $50,000. Custom multi-month engagements with dedicated account direction, narrative architecture, direct-relationship placements in Forbes, TIME, Vogue, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, NY Post, ELLE, GQ, Harper’s Bazaar, Condé Nast Traveler, Bon Appétit, Glamour, Allure, L’Officiel, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, Hollywood Life, Rolling Stone, and adjacent premium press. Engagement scope is defined per individual statement of work (SOW).
3. Self-Serve Press Feature — Guarantee
Each self-serve feature is delivered as a full original editorial article (typically 600–1,200 words) on the VUGA Network outlet you selected at checkout, published on that outlet’s actual digital domain. Placements are guaranteed because the VUGA Network is wholly owned.
If for any reason a paid feature is not delivered within 7 days of order completion, you receive a full refund for that order, or — at your election — placement on another outlet of equivalent or greater tier within 14 days at no additional cost.
4. Strategic Engagement — Scope
Strategic engagements are governed by a per-engagement statement of work executed between VUGA Media Group LLC and the client. The SOW will define: deliverables, outlet mix, timeline, dedicated account team, payment schedule, confidentiality, IP, and the specific guarantee structure for that engagement. The general terms below apply where the SOW is silent.
5. What’s Outside Our Guarantee
Press placement is what we control. Outcomes downstream of the placement — sales, social-media follow-on, viral pickup, search ranking, retailer rankings, royalty income — are not. We do not guarantee specific business or commercial outcomes downstream of any placement. We make no promise that any individual placement will be a breakthrough moment — but the placements happen, and they happen at the outlet you paid for. That is the contract.
6. Payment
Self-serve press features are sold self-service online; payment is processed at checkout via major credit and debit cards. Productized packages may be billed at checkout or via invoice depending on tier. Strategic engagements are billed per the payment schedule in the SOW.
You agree to provide accurate billing information. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us at [email protected] may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any in-progress placements.
7. Delivery Windows
- Self-serve press feature: 7 days from order completion.
- Productized packages: 14–45 days depending on tier (see vugapublishing.com/for-authors for author-package timelines).
- Strategic engagements: per SOW.
8. Refund Policy
Placement-failure refund: 100% money-back for any paid feature we fail to deliver on the named outlet within the stated delivery window. No fine print, no debate.
Voluntary cancellation: Self-serve features and productized packages — full refund within 24 hours of purchase if production has not started. Once articles enter the editorial queue, packages are non-refundable for voluntary cancellation because outlet slots are already committed (the placement guarantee still applies if we fail to deliver). Strategic-engagement cancellations are governed by the cancellation clause in the SOW.
9. Your Content & Rights
You retain full ownership of all original content you provide. By engaging with VUGA you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the materials you supply (logos, photography, copy, biographical information, project descriptions, and any related materials) solely for the purpose of producing and publishing the editorial articles or campaigns described in your order or SOW. This license is limited in scope to the deliverables; we make no claim to your underlying intellectual property, your business operations, or any creative works beyond the materials you submit.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit the materials you provide and that they do not infringe on any third-party rights, contain defamatory content, or violate applicable laws.
10. Editorial Discretion
Editorial articles published as part of any engagement are written by VUGA’s editorial team in the voice and style of the receiving outlet. We will share a draft for your factual review prior to publication. You may correct factual errors and verify spelling of names, titles, and links. You may not rewrite the article to read like marketing copy — final editorial style remains with VUGA and the receiving outlet, consistent with their editorial standards.
11. Editorial Standards & Re-Placement
Each receiving outlet has its own editorial calendar, voice, and content standards. Content that an outlet deems unsuitable may be redirected to a different outlet of equivalent or greater tier within your engagement, with prior notice to you, at no additional cost. If no suitable outlet of equivalent tier is available, the placement guarantee applies and you receive a full refund of the affected portion.
12. Trademarks & Third-Party Marks
"VUGA," "VUGA Media Group," "VUGA Enterprises," "VUGA PR Services," "VUGA TV," "VUGA Publishing," "VUGA Foundation," "Gossip Stone TV," "24Fashion TV," and "Virtuoso TV" are trademarks of VUGA Media Group LLC or its affiliates. References to Forbes, TIME, Vogue, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, ELLE, GQ, Condé Nast Traveler, Bon Appétit, Glamour, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, NY Post, USA Today, Rolling Stone, Cosmopolitan, L’Officiel, Hollywood Life, Closer Weekly, In Touch Weekly, Star Magazine, OK! Magazine, and any other media outlet logos are used solely to identify those parties and do not imply endorsement. All third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Limitation of Liability
Beyond the placement-guarantee refund described above, VUGA’s total liability arising from any single order is limited to the amount paid for that order (for self-serve and productized) or the amount paid for the affected milestone (for strategic engagements). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages including, without limitation, lost profits, lost royalties, lost goodwill, or reputational harm arising from a placement after publication. We are not responsible for the acts of third parties (search engines, retailers, social platforms) that may affect the visibility or persistence of placements after publication. Nothing in this section limits the placement-failure refund — that is your guaranteed remedy if we fail to deliver.
14. Privacy
We collect only the information needed to fulfill your engagement (name, email, billing details, project information). We do not sell or rent customer data to third parties. 15. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. You and VUGA each waive any right to a jury trial.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes affecting an existing order or SOW will not be applied retroactively without your consent.
